Ingredients:

  • Vegan pretzel buns (I buy from whole foods pretzilla brand)
  • 2 14 oz cans of jackfruit (I buy Native forest brand)
  • 1 small Red bell pepper 
  • 1 small Green bell pepper 
  • ½ Jalapeno chopped 
  • 1 tbsp slap ya mama 
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1 tbsp adobo 
  • Bbq sauce (I use Stubs brand black owned, clean ingredients, vegan)
  • Arugula 
  • Tomatoe 
  • Red onion 
  • Mixed banana peppers 

Instructions:

  • Drain jackfruit of liquid & rinse a bit 
  • Add jackfruit & seasonings to pan 
  • Saute with chopped veggies for about 10 -15 minutes periodically stirring & breaking jackfruit up as it softens 
  • Cook until jackfruit & veggies tender 
  • Add 1 cup bbq sauce (optional, it’s yummy without bbq sauce)
  • SERVE 

Suggested toppings: vegan mayo, vegan ketchup, tomato, Red onion, arugula, mixed banana peppers 

Suggested side: bread & butter pickles chips, side salad
