Ingredients:
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1 tbsp slap ya mama
- 1 tsp old bay
- ¼ cup vegan mayo
- 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
- ½ cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 egg (I use Red Mill egg replacer)
- ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
- ½ cup of green onion
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- 2 tbsp melted vegan butter
- 1 tbsp worcestire sauce
- Juice of half a lemon
Instruction:
- Set oven to 400 degrees
- Lightly Grease baking sheet with grapeseed oil or vegan butter
- In a bowl mix together all ingredients (be careful not to break up crab meat too much)
- Using an ice cream scooper, scoop even amounts of crab cake mixture onto baking sheet(about ¾ of a cup) & 1 inch apart
- Refrigerate for 10 minutes covered in plastic wrap (it’s ok if you don’t have plastic wrap)
- Bake crab cakes on 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes
- Broil for 3-5 minutes on high to brown
