Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 tbsp slap ya mama 
  • 1 tsp old bay  
  • ¼ cup vegan mayo 
  • 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs 
  • 1 egg (I use Red Mill egg replacer)
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper 
  • ½ cup of green onion
  • ¼ cup chopped red onion  
  • 2 tbsp melted  vegan butter 
  • 1 tbsp worcestire sauce 
  • Juice of half a lemon 

Instruction:

  • Set oven to 400 degrees 
  • Lightly Grease baking sheet with grapeseed oil or vegan butter 
  • In a bowl mix together all ingredients (be careful not to break up crab meat too much)
  • Using an ice cream scooper, scoop even amounts of crab cake mixture onto baking sheet(about ¾ of a cup) & 1 inch apart 
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes covered in plastic wrap (it’s ok if you don’t have plastic wrap) 
  • Bake crab cakes on 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes 
  • Broil for 3-5 minutes on high to brown
