Ingredients

  • Two 9 oz bags of dark chocolate chips (if you don’t like dark chocolate use whatever kind you like! I wanted dairy-free)
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • Your favorite nut/trail mix (I went ALL THE WAY IN (because why not?) & did hazelnuts, pistachios, cranberries, pecans, almond, sunflower seeds, etc.
  • 1.5 Tbsp Super Food powder (I used Macarenas root)
  • 1 tsp Peanut butter powder (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut manna butter (if you don’t have just use peanut butter or almond butter or sunflower seed whatever your fave is!)
  • Coconut flakes (optional)
  • Parchment paper
  • Hammer

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Pour one bag of dark chocolate chips into a microwaveable bowl
  • Add 1 Tbsp of coconut oil
  • Microwave for 45-60 seconds
  • Remove from microwave & mix until chocolate is smooth
  • Add nut and/or trail mix of your choice to bowl & mix
  • Spread mixture on baking sheet (spread as thinly & evenly as possible)
  • Place in freezer for 15-30 minutes
  • While first mix is freezing pour 2nd bag of chocolate chips into microwaveable bowl
  • Microwave for 45-60 seconds
  • Remove from microwave & add super food & peanut butter powder to bowl & mix in until smooth
  • Remove baking sheet w/ frozen bark from freezer
  • Pour super food chocolate mix over frozen bark spreading evenly & thinly as possible
  • Add coconut flakes on top of superfood mix
  • Add more nut and/or trail mix on top
  • Microwave coconut manna butter for 45-60 seconds in microwaveable bowl
  • Take spoon & drizzle butter atop bark
  • Place back in freezer for at least one hour
  • Remove from freezer & cover frozen bark with parchment paper
  • Grab hammer & wack away at frozen bark so it breaks into bite size/finger food pieces
