Ingredients

  • Bread of your choice (I like spelt – google this bread it’s a great & more healthy grain)
  • Ripe avocados (1 is good for about 2 slices of bread & should be soft when you squeeze softly, but not too soft)
  • Mini heirloom tomatoes
  • Sliced Red onion (optional)
  • Your fave seasonings (I tend to go with a dash of slap ya mama/black pepper/adobo etc. pick your fave & go crazy with it!)
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Olive oil (I love a good roasted garlic olive oil)

Instructions

  • Toast your slice of bread
  • While bread toasting scoop avocado out into a bowl & mash with a spoon (don’t mash too much if you like to keep some chunks of avocado)
  • Add your choice of seasoning & mix into mashed avocado
  • Half heirloom tomatoes
  • Plate toast
  • Spread avocado mash onto toast
  • Top toast w/ tomatoes & onion (if you like)
  • Sprinkle black pepper & red pepper flakes on top
  • Drizzle oil & enjoy!
